The company was incorporated in the spring of 1994 as Todd Pulley, Inc. doing business as Purofirst of Southwest Jersey. Todd, along with his brothers Brett and Guy and their father Richard, drew on their respective strengths in contracting, marketing, and business management and built a solid business. In 1997 Purofirst of Southeast Pennsylvania, a restoration franchise, was acquired. The businesses continued to grow at a minimum rate of 20% for the next six years. The products of this success: solid relationships with the insurance industry, a professional team, a growing reputation for doing outstanding work, and an ever-increasing sophistication in our operational systems gave us the momentum we needed to take the next step in expanding our marketplace.

In 2003 and 2004 three additional franchise entities located on our existing service borders were opened. They were PuroClean of Hunterdon County (NJ), PuroClean of Cape May Atlantic (NJ), and PuroClean of New Castle County (DE). The addition of the PuroClean Brand allowed for limiting reconstruction services and concentrating on the dominating business segment in our marketplace: Emergency Mitigation Services. In 2006 all of the offices were converted to the PuroClean Certified Restoration name and brand identity.

PuroClean Certified Restoration currently employs 31 management, production, and support staff members. There are 13 fire and water damage service teams who are dedicated to helping our customers during difficult circumstances. Over the last 15 years we have completed in excess of 16,000 restoration claims from hundreds of agent and adjuster referral sources.

PuroClean Certified Restoration has been awarded Franchisee of the Year by PuroSystems, Inc in 1995, 1996, and 2002 in recognition of our leadership and success within the franchise system. In 2004, Todd was nominated and awarded the International Franchise Association Franchisee of the Year. Other honors include two President’s Circle of Achievement Awards, four PuroClean Navigator Awards, two Rainmaker Awards, Vice President of the Franchise Advisory Council, The National Leadership Council, and the Executive Advisory Council. We remain one of the top producing Franchises in the PuroClean System and are very proud of the recognition received.
